16VT’s involvement: Wired in fully functional Megasquirt ECU using bespoke harness; calibrated fuel and spark.
Forced induction: Holset.
Engine: 1800cc, M42 engine code, 16 valve.
: Port injection, 630cc/min HighZ Siemens injectors, custom
trigger wheel, VR crank sensor, Bosch
coolant and GM intake temp sensors, 2 Audi coils driven by VB921's;
The objective of this install was to use supply the fueling and
ignition timing necessary for the turbo conversion..
A v3 PCB was used, 2 VB921's for waste-spark capability, and a few PN2222A transistors for some 'extras'.
